Floating on a Breeze

It's been so long since I posted an outfit I almost forgot how to upload the pictures. With today being the warmest day of the year so far, I decided to take advantage of the nice breeze and the beautiful sunshine. This dress that I won from Tulle is so comfortable so I decided that since it's a bit short, I'd wear it as a top over my jeans. I got these shoes for really cheap and I love them.

On another note, I planted flowers and there are little green things sprouting up everywhere. Right now I have them in planters but I'm not sure if I am going to transplant them to the ground. I love lilacs. They are so pretty and they smell so good !

Brooches

I now have a good little collection of brooches. I saw these on Amazon, and while they are way too expensive, I still like them. I just love brooches because they pretty much go with anything. They're so easy to wear  (although I do get paranoid about losing them sometimes) and they add a little something extra to an outfit. I may just have to take some pictures of the ones I have sometime soon. Most of them have been bought for super cheap (I'm talking, twenty-five to fifty cents) but I have also made a few on my own. All I need is a hot glue gun!

Colorful

I would wear any of these items. I love the colors, especially on the dresses. I also really like the sandals with the jewels, and those yellow wedges are nice as well. Spring is the perfect time to add color to a wardrobe. Our winter wasn't bad, so I actually got to wear some color, so spring is just a continuation of that.

Honey West

Honey West was played by Anne Francis. In the show, Honey always looked so glamorous, so put together. Altough the show only lasted from '65 to '66, in those days, women always dressed up and put effort into how they looked.

 

 

This is a serious post. This is about the horror in Newtown, Connecticut...the horror here in Oregon at the Clackamas mall. I can't believe this type of thing happens. I can't imagine what the families are going through. I wish all the people of the world could get along and live in harmony.

Keep Your Head Warm.

 

 

A hat can really make a difference this time of year. Usually, if I have a warm coat, gloves, and a scarf, I am set to go. I would like to get in the habit of wearing more hats. I have some nice ones, so I think I will start wearing them more often. These are from Anthropologie, and while I would never pay that much for a hat, they are nice. I especially like the first one, the last one, and the scarf idea in the third one.

Golden

 

 

As I said in the other post, here are a few of the items I won. I loved the leopard pattern on this hat, so I knew I wanted it. Then, I saw this top and really loved the color. It is super soft too. I got four tops, four dresses, and this hat. I love the things I received!

 

This hat is perfect for colder temperatures that are coming up. While the tops and dresses are really summer items, I can always layer them. I look forward to doing just that!
